How can we help?
Getting started
What is ISVR NewsDesk AI?
An AI newsroom assistant for Indian publishers. Paste a press note, reporter notes or a speech, and it drafts publication-ready news in English, Hindi and Punjabi — articles, newspaper shorts, headlines, social posts, reel and voice-over scripts and SEO — while your editors stay in control.
Can I try it before signing up?
Yes. Open “Try it free” (/try), paste a press note or pick a sample, choose article, short, headlines, social posts or a reel script in English, Hindi or Punjabi, and see the result in seconds. If you then create a free account, the story is waiting for you in Create News.
How do I start?
Create a free account, verify your e-mail with the 6-digit code we send, set up your newsroom (publication name and style) and paste your first story. The free trial includes starter credits and every feature.
Do I need technical skills?
No. If you can copy and paste a press note, you can use NewsDesk AI. Everything runs in your browser — on desktop or mobile.
Which languages are supported?
English, Hindi (Devanagari) and Punjabi (Gurmukhi). You can write in one language and generate or translate into the others.
Accuracy & editorial control
Will the AI invent facts or quotes?
NewsDesk AI is instructed to use only the facts in your source and never to invent names, dates, figures or quotations. Every output also gets an integrity review that flags numbers, quotes, names and dates that don't appear in the source, so your editor knows exactly what to check.
Is the integrity review a fact-check?
No. It is an editorial aid that highlights things to verify. A human editor should always review and approve content before publication — the workflow is built around that.
Can we apply our own style rules?
Yes. Your publication profile holds your editorial rules, English style (British, Indian or American), tone and default length. They are applied to every generation.
Newsroom tools
Can press notes come in on WhatsApp?
Yes. Your newsroom admin adds the WhatsApp numbers of PR officers, stringers and reporters under WhatsApp intake. Each sender texts JOIN plus your intake code once; after that, their press notes, photos and PDFs arrive in the News Library as draft stories, and they get a receipt.
How does the breaking-news desk work?
Type the confirmed facts, tick the languages, and NewsDesk writes a short first report per language, five headlines and social posts in under a minute. Editors check the integrity signals, approve everything in one click and post to connected social accounts.
Can the desk give assignments to reporters?
Yes. Editors create assignments with a brief, location, due time and priority. The reporter gets an e-mail, accepts it and files copy from the desk or the mobile reporter app; the story goes straight into the review queue.
Is there a mobile app?
The reporter app runs in the phone's browser and can be installed to the home screen (Android and iPhone). Reporters see assignments and breaking alerts, dictate in English, Hindi or Punjabi, and attach camera photos.
Can NewsDesk create images, voice and video?
Yes. It makes editorial AI thumbnails (clearly labelled illustrations, never fake photos of real events or people), reads any output aloud free in your browser, creates news-anchor MP3s, and turns a reel script into a narrated MP4 with subtitles. Media uses credits from your plan.
Can posts be scheduled to social media?
Yes — to Facebook Pages, Telegram channels and X directly, and to LinkedIn, Instagram and others through a Zapier, Make or n8n webhook. Posts go out at the scheduled time and failed posts are retried.
Do you have an API?
Yes. The News API lets your website, CMS or app pull approved stories and push press notes. It's included in Newsroom and Enterprise plans and in the free trial — see /developers.
Plans, credits & billing
What is a credit / AI article?
Each generated output — an article, a set of headlines, a social pack, a reel script and so on — uses one credit. The Complete News Package creates up to nine outputs from one story and uses one credit per output.
Do unused credits carry over?
Yes, unused credits roll over while your subscription is active.
How do I pay?
Plans are billed monthly through Razorpay — cards, UPI AutoPay and net-banking mandates are supported. Enterprise customers can also pay by invoice.
Can I upgrade, downgrade or cancel?
Any time from Plans & Billing. Upgrades apply immediately; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of your paid month. You will receive reminder e-mails before a plan expires.
What happens to my stories if my plan ends?
Your stories are kept. Plans differ in how far back the News Library shows (30 days, 1 year or unlimited); older stories reappear when you upgrade.
Team & security
Can my whole newsroom use it?
Yes. Invite editors and reporters by e-mail. Reporters create stories; editors review, approve and publish. Each plan includes a number of users.
Is our content private?
Each newsroom's stories are isolated from every other customer. Source material is sent to the AI provider only to generate your drafts and is not used to train models. Payments are handled by Razorpay — we never see your card details.
Do you offer plans for large publishers?
Yes — Enterprise plans with custom users, credits, integrations and invoicing. Contact our sales team.
